Dosage/Direction for Use
Special Precautions
Dosage should not exceed once daily due to risk of decreased IOP lowering effect. Aphakic patients & pseudophakic patients w/ torn posterior lens capsule; patients w/ active or history of bronchial asthma; intraocular inflammation (iritis/uveitis); latent herpes virus infection; angle-closure glaucoma. Iris pigmentation & corneal epithelium disorder may occur. Administer at least 5 min apart if used w/ other ophth soln. Contains benzalkonium Cl. Remove contact lenses before instillation; reinsert after 15 min. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Should be avoided during breastfeeding. Pregnancy. Ped patients. Elderly.
Drug Interactions
Elevated IOP w/ ophth prostaglandin analogues (isopropyl unoprostone, bimatoprost).
